Who to Call if your plane is in a Tree at Waveny (8/10/05)

The following guys may be able to help you retrieve your plane:

Suggestion: Explain the situation, don’t make the recovery a priority (you will pay if you do), and suggest an “end of the day” stop. Be nice and you may just have to pay a tip!! All of these guys have had to retrieve many a pet and plane.

 

• Howard B Toms Tree Care (966-2686). Billy Jordan is the man. He is the Town Arborist and a very nice guy on the phone. ”Ace” Cortez used to be our number one guy to retrieve planes. He died a year ago.

• Alpine Tree Service/”Care of Trees”. (cell 943-5974 , office 847-1855). ”Rich” is the man . He is Trey’s tree man. Good guy. I used him and just had to pay a tip to one of his employees. A pleasant surprise!!

• Mill River Tree Service 966-8591. John Depew was my contact at 856-4749, he has R/C buddies.

• Robert Hutchinson 979-7499. Does a lot of local stuff.

• Qualey Tree Service 966-8138. Brian is the owner. Small operation!
